Almost all tarmac: ideal for a road bike. Measured on OpenStreetMap; there may be recent changes on the ground.
The route
The difficulty lies in the length and in the altitude of the last kilometres, above the Grandvalira resort. Since the Envalira tunnel opened much of the traffic avoids it, but it's still a main road: best early in the morning.
Track based on the signposted route in OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL licence). In Andorra you are almost always riding above 1,000 m: bring a jacket for the descent, check the weather at the summit and be ready for snow out of season.
Before you set off, check the state of the road or track and follow the traffic rules. Enjoy the ride. Track calculated with BRouter on data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).
