The route

Circular MTB route signposted by the Centro BTT O Salnés (R7) over Monte Castrove, the range that separates O Salnés from the Pontevedra estuary. About 12 km on forest tracks and hill paths, with the climb as the main course and viewpoints over the Arousa and Pontevedra estuaries on a clear day. It is a short route but with real elevation: take the ramps calmly. There are no reliable springs at the top, so climb with water. Avoid very rainy days, when the tracks get slippery. The signs on the ground come first. Track based on the signposted route in OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL licence).

Track based on OpenStreetMap (ODbL).

Before you set off, check the state of the road or track and follow the traffic rules. Enjoy the ride.
