Cube sells a lot in Spain, and across almost every discipline: hardtails to get started off-road, full-suspension bikes for long rides, road, gravel and, above all, e-bikes. So when you look at a second-hand Cube, the first thing isn't the brand but the family. A Reaction Hybrid and an Attain are worlds apart in price and in what you need to check. Here's what people ask on bicis.net by category and where the weak spots of each type usually are.

Reference prices by category

With today's listings, a Cube-only median wouldn't be reliable. The reference that is: the asking price by category in active «Vendo» (for sale) listings on bicis.net, as of 30 October 2026 (n = 218). It's what the seller asks, not what is finally paid.

E-bikes are where Cube moves most. The range goes from €1,500 to €2,962 between the cheapest and the priciest quarter: within that margin, the battery decides almost everything. You'll find the full tables and how they're counted in Ciclismo en cifras.

If you're after an e-bike: Reaction Hybrid, Stereo Hybrid and Kathmandu Hybrid

The Hybrids are the most listed second-hand Cubes. The Reaction Hybrid is an electric hardtail for tracks and paths; the Stereo Hybrid, a full-suspension e-MTB for the mountains; and the Kathmandu Hybrid, a trekking bike for everyday use and long trips.

The battery, before anything else

Ask to see a motor and battery diagnosis done at a workshop: it tells you how many charge cycles it has, how much capacity is left and whether the motor has thrown errors. Without that report you don't know whether you're taking home a bike with years ahead of it or one with a battery you'll soon have to replace, which is the most expensive part.

What else to check

  • Original charger and battery keys: without them, trouble.
  • Motor noises on climbs and play in the bottom bracket axle.
  • Pads and rotors: an e-bike is heavier and brakes harder, so they wear faster.
  • The chain and cassette, which suffer more from the motor's push.

If you're the one selling, you'll find how to prepare the listing in the guide to selling your used e-bike.

If you're after a mountain bike without a motor: Reaction, AMS and Stereo

Reaction and AIM, hardtails to get started or for XC

The AIM is the entry point and the Reaction, the sportier hardtail. On low-end models, the overall condition sets the price: fork, brakes and drivetrain. Don't pay for an AIM as if it were a carbon Reaction, even if they look alike in a photo.

AMS and Stereo, full suspension

The AMS is the lightweight XC full-suspension bike and the Stereo, the trail or enduro bike depending on travel. Check the shock and fork (when were they last serviced?), the linkage bearings and the dropper post. On a Stereo, also check the underside and the derailleur hanger for knocks. There's a step-by-step checklist in the guide to buying a second-hand mountain bike.

If you're after road or gravel: Attain, Agree, Litening and Nuroad

The Attain is the aluminium bike for comfortable kilometres, the Agree and the Litening are the faster carbon ones, and the Nuroad is the gravel bike. On carbon, check the fork, the head tube and the bottom bracket area in good light, and ask about crashes. On the Nuroad, check the tyres, the tubeless setup and whether it has mudguards or a rack, which add value if you're going to tour with it. Road bikes ask a median of €1,100 on bicis.net (41 listings, data as of 30 October 2026).

What moves the price up or down

  • Up: invoice, visible serial number, recent battery diagnosis, dated suspension servicing, upgraded components.
  • Down: battery without a report or with little life left, a noisy motor, a frame with knocks, bearings with play, missing charger or keys.
  • Warning sign: a Hybrid well below the cheapest quarter in the table. Ask for the serial number and meet somewhere public.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a used Cube e-bike worth?

As a reference, on bicis.net a second-hand e-bike asks a median of €2,080 (48 listings, data as of 30 October 2026). A Cube Hybrid with a healthy battery and an invoice can be at the top end; without a battery report, at the bottom.

What matters most when buying a second-hand Cube Hybrid?

The state of the battery and motor, with a workshop diagnosis. After that, the charger and keys, the brakes and the drivetrain.

How much do people ask for a used Cube Stereo?

It depends on the travel, the build and the servicing. On bicis.net a second-hand mountain bike asks a median of €813 (98 listings, data as of 30 October 2026); a well-kept Stereo usually goes above that.

Is a used carbon Cube road bike reliable?

Yes, if the frame has no cracks, you know whether it's been crashed and it comes with an invoice. Check the fork and bottom bracket in good light before you pay.
